1 Chronicles 29:13-15(NLT)
O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name! But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you have already given us!
This site is designed for members of Westwoodhill Praise Team as a resource to view future plans and view what the programme will be for coming events and also to encourage each member as we strive to lead our Church in meaningful worship. Our team is made up of musicians and technical people including sound, PC and recording experts and we are all there to help each other as we aim to serve God using the gifts he has given us.
Our aim within our Church is to serve God and serve each other and also to pray regularly for each team member as they perform their tasks as God has asked them. Please take time to view our site and may God Bless you as you serve him in your local Church and community.

1 Chronicles ch 29 vs 13 to 15. NLT "O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name! But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you have already given us! We are here only for a moment, visitors and strangers in the land as our ancestors were before us. Our days on earth are like a shadow, gone soon without a trace."
These verses from David’s prayer of praise have spoken a lot to me over the last number of weeks. God has given every one of his Children, each of us, gifts and blessings we often take for granted and sometimes treat with complacency. Who are we to belittle what God has given? God has honoured each of us and we should honour Him in all we do. Give thanks to Him this summer (however short it is in bonnie Scotland!) as you recharge your batteries, take in the wonders of His creation and rejoice in his blessings. Offer the gifts he has given you, back to him as you open them up in your life and let them flourish. We will be in eternity a long time, but the time we have here is not to be discarded. Enjoy his creation and blessings as you relax and live life with the gifts he has given out of their box. It would be wrong for us not to offer them back to God in service for Him. It won't be plain sailing all the time, we all know that from experience, but keeping our focus simple and on him will see us through any trial.
Be blessed this summer and take Jesus with you on holiday, He knows how to throw a party! (John Chapter 2, v1 to 12).
