Hebrews 13:15-17
Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.
This site is designed for members of Westwoodhill Praise Team as a resource to view future plans and view what the programme will be for coming events and also to encourage each member as we strive to lead our Church in meaningful worship. Our team is made up of musicians and technical people including sound, PC and recording experts and we are all there to help each other as we aim to serve God using the gifts he has given us.
Our aim within our Church is to serve God and serve each other and also to pray regularly for each team member as they perform their tasks as God has asked them. Please take time to view our site and may God Bless you as you serve him in your local Church and community.

Instead of a 'Thought for the month', here are some questions to stimulate your own thoughts for the month! Taken from some lessons from Mark Driscoll's book "Doctrine: What every Christian should believe":
Based on Hebrews 13:15-17 worship includes... 1. Praise2. Proclamation 3. Service, which means doing good as a demonstration of the Gospel to the world. 4. Participation, which means sharing with others as a demonstration of grace to the world. 5. Sacrifice, the giving of time, talent, and treasure 6. Submission and holiness
Driscoll then presents six hard hitting questions we can use to identify how well we are doing in each of these six areas. 1. Who or what do you praise most passionately and frequently? 2. How commonly and clearly do you confess Jesus Christ in the words you speak, type, and sing? 3. Are you one who serves others with gladness in response to God so faithfully serving you? Or are you someone who prefers to be served rather than to serve? Do you serve when it is inconvenient or unnoticed, or when you are unmotivated? 4. Are you an active participant in the life of your church and community? Do you give your time, talent, and treasure to share God's love in tangible ways with others? 5. For whom or what do you sacrifice your time, health, emotion, money, and energy? What do these acts of worship reveal about what you have chosen to deify in your life? 6. Are you submissive to godly authority (e.g. parent, teacher, pastor, or boss)?
I hope we all find these questions challenging as we try to answer them honestly.
