Hi and thanks for visiting our web site

This site is designed for members of Westwoodhill Praise Team as a resource to view future plans and view what the programme will be for coming events and also to encourage each member as we strive to lead our Church in meaningful worship. Our team is made up of musicians and technical people including sound, PC and recording experts and we are all there to help each other as we aim to serve God using the gifts he has given us.

Our aim within our Church is to serve God and serve each other and also to pray regularly for each team member as they perform their tasks as God has asked them. Please take time to view our site and may God Bless you as you serve him in your local Church and community.

Thought for the month - by Colin Prentice, Team Leader.

Colin Prentice Welcome 2012, goodbye 2011…what a year, personally, it’s been!! Started off in Jan with Fi in and out of Hosp with the initial stages of pregnancy to finishing with a beautiful daughter Eva born in Sept and thriving. For many of us it's been a mixed year, some of us have lost loved ones, some of us have gained loved ones, some may have moved, changed or lost their job, moved home, etc etc however I think many of us can look back and say it was quite a year.
So what do we hope for this year? Perhaps it might just be a year of no change please and a year of peace or perhaps the opposite. Perhaps you have many grand plans ahead of changes in your life.

Change is good, change can be good if the change is done properly well thought out and time is taken over that change. However one thing that has and will remain the same, yesterday today and forever is Christ and we should be so thankful for that. I spoke this month on Joshua 1 and the main verse for me from that passage was "I will never leave you nor forsake you.."
No matter what you will encounter this new year whether it be change or a year of keeping things steady and as similar as possible the consistent presence of Christ is with us, he will never leave your side and will walk through this year with you. So let's take his hand this year, let's ask for his guidance throughout the year and let's be more open to what he can do in your life in 2012 and who knows where we'll be in 12 months time.
